Meet our new Instructor, J Barber!

J spent more than 10 years as an organic farmer before pursuing a career as a helicopter pilot. After being inspired by a tour of the Hawaiian Islands, he enrolled at Silverhawk Aviation Academy in Idaho. He has experience in the Robinson R22 and R44 helicopter platforms and enjoys sharing his passion for flight with students and tour clients alike. When he's not flying, J enjoys hiking and fishing with his wife, Sam, and their cattle dog, Jasper.
